What to expect
DAY 1
• Eyebrows will appear thick and dark.
• Eyebrow area will be sensitive and tender.
• Swelling and redness will subside within 24-48 hours.
• One eyebrow may be slightly different from the other. It could be caused by how differently each side of your face swells. Please give swelling time to subside.
• Keep in mind, eyebrows can never be perfectly symmetrical because our face is not symmetrical.
(Symmetry DOES NOT EXIST as eyes, nostrils and ears are not symmetrical.) As your brow artist, I will try to make your eyebrows as similar as possible but you must also consider that you may have more muscle movement on one side or one side may be higher due to your bone structure. In general, moving your eyebrows or your face will make them look different.
DAY 2-5
• Eyebrows will harden and the texture may appear raised as they begin to form scabs.
DAY 6-14
• You may experience extreme itchiness in the eyebrows. Please don't scratch or tug on skin.
• Skin will begin to exfoliate and flake off slowly. DO NOT self-pick or pull off any flaking. This will cause premature pigment loss and create splotches or scarring in your eyebrows.
• As the scabs naturally flake off, expect the results underneath to be 30-50% lighter. 1. Be aware that your initial session is only to lay a base to start the process. The complimentary touch-up will be to perfect, build color and complete your eyebrows. 2. If you see a cloudy/milky layer, that is your epidermis healing and replacing itself. This will subside within 4-6 weeks. During this time as the ink settles, the color will slowly reappear and take on more strength in the next 4-6 weeks.
• Some unevenness of color is expected after peeling because different parts of the skin retains pigment differently. The touch-up session is to perfect and make adjustments for desired results. Results are not determined until the touch-up appointment.
(Average peeling time: 7-14 days.)
Please note:
If you bleed excessively during the session(s), pigment will not completely absorb as your blood is pushing it out. Therefore your healed results may have sparse areas/uneven colors. I will try to do the best I can but I cannot control your body's natural reaction.
Healed pigment over current scar tissue will appear lighter or shiny.

What to expect over time
With time your eyebrows will fade and slightly shrink. Annual touch-up's are recommended. Please remember to book your touch-up in advance to secure an appointment before your deadline.
Factors that fade eyebrows faster:
• skin type (oily)
• skin regiments
• direct sunlight for long periods
• working out/sweating a lot
