After Care Instructions

Cleaning & Ointment:
• Light rinsing with gentle, fragrance-free soap and water is recommended. Gently wash your brows without scrubbing.
• Do not touch your brows with bare fingers to avoid infection.
• Do not rub, pull, or pick at the area.
• Apply a very thin layer of ointment twice daily using a clean cotton swab. Too much ointment will suffocate the skin and delay healing.

  • If your brows begin to leak fluid, you’ve applied too much. Gently dab it off, let your brows air dry completely, and then reapply a smaller amount.
  • Key: Your skin must breathe. Only the lightest coat is needed.

During Healing:
• Do not apply skincare products or makeup to your brows while peeling/healing.
• Avoid laser hair removal near the brows.
• No heavy sweating, sauna, jacuzzi, or swimming (chlorine or natural bodies of water) until fully healed.
• Even after peeling stops, the skin beneath is still healing. Avoid direct sun exposure for 4–6 weeks, as it can cause significant fading.

Warning Signs:
If you notice excessive swelling, redness, tenderness, fever, or drainage from the brows, contact your physician immediately as this may indicate infection.

Other Notes:
• Blood donors: You cannot donate blood for 1 year after permanent makeup.
• Not following these aftercare steps may result in pigment loss or discoloration. Once you leave the studio, healing is your responsibility.

LONG-TERM CARE
Results vary based on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for your brows during and after healing. Longevity cannot be guaranteed.

• Always use sunscreen on your brows—sun exposure causes fading and discoloration.
• Laser treatments near the brows may change pigment color.
• Skincare with acids or chemical exfoliants will speed up fading.

An Annual Refresher is recommended to maintain your color’s integrity.
When eyebrows fade over time, they will look less defined and become faint in color.
